Ministry

A. Purpose
To prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and build up the educational citizen that can know clearly not only the word of God but also the world knowledge with real possible vocation (knowledge and skill), higher personality characteristic (disciplinable, moral, virtuous, and high attendant).

B. Our Service
We accomplish our purpose effectively by:
    *    Providing
o    Bibles and related materials to those in the villages that have become Christians.
o    Running Mobile Medical Clinics once a month in the villages we work in.
o    At times provide water filters, toilets, wells, and piglets at a heavily subsidized cost
in order to help improve the well being of families.
o    Education program: English class "Bible Reading & Translating", Computer Class,
               and Music Class.
    *    Promoting personal, family, and small group Bible study.
    *    Partnering with churches and mission organizations, working together to better the
lives of people, both physically "emotionally & spiritually".
    *    Protecting donor investments through being accountable to them by giving monthly
         financial reports.

Spiritual:

Bethel Church of Siem Reap seeks to follow the pattern of organization development and that of the "Spirit-empowered" church found in the book of Acts. The plan is to strategically follow the six stage pattern of church development as adopted by the national local churches:
1.    Training leaders and "church planters" through the establishment of a Church Planting
Movement (CPM) with a short term training "church planting" emphasis, GCI Book and
       TEEac.
2.    Develop lay leaders through training session held regionally on a periodic basis by
using Bible Pictures or Evangelism Track - Stories Materials.
3.    Plan churches as leaders are identified and called, subsequently, train and equip.
4.    Assemble ordinary church members with an evangelical outlook and mission.
5.    Demonstrate the Gospel through the Holy Spirit empowered ministry of our Lord.
6.    Replace the bibles to the hand of needs.

Churches

1.    The church is generally poverty stricken and unable to effort to buy Christian materials
       and Bible in the congregation.
2.    BCSR are willing to help with church planter (CP) by provides training to church planter
and discipleship and provide CP with our simple materials "Evangelism Track  Stories"
       and other related materials.
3.   Therefore, we believe that by equipping the church community with sufficient resources,
we can begin to help the poor and needy in a holistic way and replaced evangelism
materials and the bible to the hand of needs.

Most of the Cambodian people are agrarian (85%) peasants; more than two-thirds are illiterate, and the majorities are landless. The introduction of modern agricultural practices and improved livestock varieties as provided by "Dear Partners International", along with micro enterprise development business practices, allows the community to become self supporting and empowered to reach out to help others.

The church benefits by breaking economic bondage and dependency of the church members, and by teaching the concept of the tithe (i.e., if they have ten pigs to sell, one belong to God). The community benefits as members are trained to "pass the gift".

This is your hope In Jesus Christ
