Dear Donor:
Firstly a big "thank you" for your willingness to contribute to the work of God.
We are grateful to all those who recognize their responsibility to be a blessing to those around the world who are involved in God's work.
Therefore we recognize our responsibility to God and to our donors to be faithful stewards of his blessing.
Some Principles of Stewardship
We therefore abide by the following principles when using the money you entrust to us.
1. Money is not an instrument of control but of blessing.
2. We are accountable to donors for the funds they entrust to us.
3. We adhere to principles of sound and accurate financial reporting.
4. Our accounts are independently audited annually.
5. Funds are spent in accordance with the vision statement of the ministry.
6. Funds will be utilized faithfully in accordance with donor designation. (see 7 below)
7. Funds received and designated for use in projects or activities outside the scope of the
vision statement cannot be spent and should be returned to the donor or redirected to an
organization that has a vision statement in accordance with the donor's wishes.
Guidelines for Donors
Therefore we provide the following Guidelines for Donors
1. Please read our ministry statement to establish whether you would be happy to see your
gift spent in accordance with the plan.
2. Promotional material (photographs, recordings etc.) taken on our premises is not to be
used for fund raising not directed to this ministry.
3. Acknowledgements of donations (if requested) will consist of sign boards (50 x 50 cm)
placed in close proximity to the ministry's sign board.
4. The ministry cannot change its name and/or purpose because of instructions
from donors.
5. Donors are not to try to induce, bribe or force students by any means to leave the school.
6. The ministries name may not be used for the personal purposes of the sponsor or his
or her organization.
7. Donors are not allowed to use any means to prevent other donors from giving to
the ministry, or to monopolize funding.
8. Funds, equipment and other assets may not be repossessed or returned to their
original owners as a result of subsequent disagreements or disputes.
9. Please designate your funds as "for general use" or for one specific purpose.
10. Undesignated funds will be used for general purposes.
11. If you have any doubts as to whether your gift will be used according to your wishes,
please contact us before giving, as it's very difficult to refund money once it's
been deposited.
12. If you have given money and we realize that its designation is outside the limits of
our vision we will suggest the name of a ministry that is able to fulfill your requirements.
