1. A Tourist Visa can be obtained form any Cambodian Embassy or upon entry into the country at the Phnom Penh Airport or at the border crossing for a fee of $20.00. A Business Visa can be obtained from any Cambodian Embassy or upon entry into the country at the Phnom Penh Airport or at the border crossing, for a fee of $25.00. One picture is required with the Visa Application. (At the border crossings, they tend to want to charge higher visa fees. For example, when crossing into Cambodia from Thailand, they charge 1000Baht ($25US) for a Tourist Visa, getting a Business Visa at the border crossings is a little more difficult and will cost more than $25.)

2. A Tourist Visa can be extended only one time for another 30 days for $45.00. A picture is required with the application for extension.

3. A Business Visa (Visa B) can be extended for various amounts of time:

Extension for another 30 days $45.00 one time entry

Extension for 3months $75.00 one time entry

Extension for 6months $155.00 Multiple entry

Extension for 1 year $285.00 Multiple entry

*A picture is required with the application for extension.

*If one will be in country only a few days longer than their Visa, one can pay for the few days' extension at Immigration at the airport or at the border crossing as you leave at $5.00 per day.

*The Department for Foreigners and the Visa Extension office is located across the street from the Pochentong Airport. It processes applications for Tourist and Business Visa extensions. It usually takes one day, in which the application, picture and passport are submitted on one day with the fee and picked up the next day.

Children: Children under 12 years do not pay for Visa, but an application form must be filled in that costs:

$10 for a 3 to 6 months Visa

$20 for 12 months APPLYING FOR NGO VISA:

NGO visas can only be applied for associated with an existing project, which is approved through the government. To obtain an NGO Visa, you need to get an attestation paper through the office and Ministry of foreign affairs. The SAS Office will assist you in completing the necessary paperwork.

If it is known that you will be part of an existing Project that has approval with the government, then prior to your arrival, a blue attestation certificate from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs ( MOFA ) will be obtained. It will require a copy of your passport and 3 pictures. We will need you to send this to us. It will take 2 weeks to get this paper from the ministry. We will then send you this blue attestation certificate. You will present this paper at Immigration upon your arrival on the airport or at the border crossing. You will still need to fill out the Visa Application at the airport together with one passport picture. It should be free of charge. You will receive a Visa sticker in your passport, good for one to three months for a one time entry. This will be renewed in country every six months with multiple entries possible.

Should you join an approved existing project after arrival and hold a Visa E ( Business ) or Tourist Visa, you will need to leave the country and return with the attestation certificate to present upon arrival. The attestation certificate and an NGO Visa will not be available until the Visa E or Tourist Visa will expire.
